Flying in through Santo Domingo, the World’s Premiere Karate League will be heading to Altos de Chavón en La Romana, República Dominicana on Saturday, September 16th for Karate Combat 41.

Russia’s Myzra-Bek Tebuev, former KC Lightweight Challenger and #1 ranked bantamweight, will challenge reigning Irish Bantamweight Champion Eoghan Chelmiah for the Karate Combat World Bantamweight Championship in the headline spot.“

These are two of the best fighters in the division who have beat everybody in this division. The winner of this fight will prove to be the best Bantamweight Karateka in the world.” said Karate Combat President Adam Kovacs.

Also featured will be Azerbaijan’s Elvin Aghayev facing former UFC Fighter Antonio Arroyo of Brazil. It is expected that the winner of this bout will likely challenge for the inaugural Karate Combat Heavyweight Championship.

Arroyo won’t be the only UFC Veteran on the card however, Sam Alvey will be making his Karate Combat Debut against 2x Pan-American Champion Adam Ramos.

4 Athletes on this card will be competing for the hometown crowd.

The “David of KarateCombat” Jorge Perez earned this nickname from defeating giants in the Pit like former Top 10 ranked UFC fighter James Vick, he will be facing Italy’s Gabriele Cera in the Pit next.

Deivis Ferreras is known for his “cómico” antics in the Pit but will he be able to keep them up
against Tim Ha who is 6-3 as Professional Fighter.

Ana Villanueva came up short in her Karate Combat Debut but is looking to bounce back and be the first Dominicana to get a win in the Pit over Brazil’s Rafaela Bernardo. Maximo Nunes returns to the Pit coming off a beautiful KO victory over 2x Taekwondo World Medalist Damian Villa, he faces Moulay Oudud in his next fight in the Pit.
