This video explains about Kirby Bauer - Disc Diffusion Method for Antibiotic Susceptibility Testing.
The Kirby-Bauer test is the most widely used antibiotic sensitivity test.
This is also known as Disk Diffusion test.
Filter paper disc containing various antibiotics are placed on a culture plate freshly streaked bacterial colony.
Plates along with the discs incubated at 37degC in an incubator and zone of inhibition is measured.
