Hi,in this video we can see how to make gongura prawn in Tamil.This recipe was prepared by Darshan in Cook with Comali show telecasted on Vijay Television.
GONGURA PRAWN | COOK WITH COMALI RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
prawn - 250 gms
shallots - ½ cup
handful of gongura leaves
green chili - 1
ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
chili powder - 1 tsp
pepper - ½ tsp
coriander leaves
salt
water
oil
METHOD OF PREPARATION
1.In a kadai add some oil and saute the gongura leaves until it changes its colour.Let it cool down and grind to a nice smooth paste.
2.In another kadai hea some oil and saute ½ cup shallots.When it becomes soft add 1 green chili and 1 tsp ginger garlic paste.
3.When the shallots are well cooked add ¼ tsp turmeric powder,1 tsp chili powder and required salt.Saute until the raw smell of spices goes.
4.Add 250 gms of prawn and mix well.Let it cook for about 2 minutes.
5.Add the gongura paste and required water.Mix well and let it cook for another 2 minutes.
6.At last add ½ tsp pepper and a few coriander leaves and mix well
GONGURA PRAWN READY !!!
