I'm pretty excited about this Peak Designs Out Front Bike Mount. I have to say that I was skeptical at first because we have some pretty rugged terrain here in Southwest Colorado. I am hoping that it will be up to the task. I will have to report back once I get a few laps in at Phils World to see how it works.
So, what is it? The Peak Designs Out Front Bike mount is a simple gadget that holds your phone out in front of your handlebars. It's designed to work with their own line of phone cases and in this case (no pun intended) I have their Everyday Case for the iPhone 15 Pro Max. It has a simple design that utilizes two parallel latches that secure the case to the mount. There is a magnetic element there that helps to make sure you get the correct fit easily.
I do like that this mount comes with a GoPro attachment accessory. It places the GoPro in a perfect spot for filming. While I do really appreciate being able to easily twist the mount up to film on my phone, the iPhones action mode can not even come close to being as stable as the GoPro, which you will see in the footage.
Overall I am pleased with this mount though it is a bit on the expensive side at $70 dollars.
