Shtetet e Bashkuara të Amerikës konfirmojnë edhe një herë mbështetjen e tyre për Shqipërinë pas sulmit kibernetik të 15 Korrikut dhe për të cilin Tirana zyrtare akuzoi Iranin.
Këtë mbështetje e ka bërë të ditur Këshilltari për Sigurinë Kombëtare në Shtëpinë e Bardhë, Jake Sullivan gjatë një telefonate që zhvilloi këtë të enjte me kryeministrin e Shqipërisë Edi Rama. Lajmin e bëri të ditur Shtëpia e Bardhë përmes një deklarate zyrtare.
“Këshilltari i Sigurisë Kombëtare Jake Sullivan bisedoi me Kryeministrin e Shqipërisë Edi Rama për të shprehur mbështetjen e fortë të Shteteve të Bashkuara për aleatin tonë në NATO pas sulmit kibernetik të Iranit më 15 Korrik”.
Më tej, Shtëpia e Bardhë thekson se gjatë kësaj bisede Sullivan dhe Rama u angazhuan të vazhdojnë të punojnë së bashku për korrigjimin e dëmeve të shkaktuara nga ky sulm dhe për forcimin e masave të sigurisë kibernetike.
Gjithashtu gjatë kësaj bisede, zoti Sullivan shprehu vlerësimin për pritjen bujare të Shqipërisë të shtetasve afganë, shumë prej të cilëve tashmë janë larguar për në Shtetet e Bashkuara të Amerikës.
Temë e bisedës ishte forcimi i partneritetit mes Shqipërisë dhe Shteteve të Bashkuara të Amerikës për çështjet rajonale dhe globale, duke përfshirë edhe NATO-n.
Një reagim lidhur me këtë bisedë e pati edhe vetë Këshilltari për Sigurinë Kombëtare, Jake Sullivan në rrjetet sociale ku shkroi se “Shtetet e Bashkuara qëndrojnë me aleatin e tyre të NATO-s pas sulmit kibernetik të Iranit më 15 Korrik”.
Më herët, Shtetet e Bashkuara të Amerikës ishin të parat që dënuan sulmin kibernetik të Iranit dhe mbështetën vendimin e qeverisë shqiptare për dëbimin e trupit diplomatik Iranian nga Shqipëria.
