The Dutch naval vessel Zr.Ms. Holland intercepted 4,735 kg of cocaine during 5 different actions from late November to mid-December. This was done in close cooperation with the US Coast Guard and the Caribbean Coast Guard. For the first time, Sr. Ms. Holland coordinated and managed the participating units. The month before, the naval vessel was also involved in 3 drug seizures.
