The West Somerset Railway held their Spring Gala between March 22nd. and March 25th.2018. Spring like conditions didn't really appear until the last day of the gala with other days being largely overcast and chilly. The theme was Great Western routes and branches and the home based locos were joined by visitors in the form of S160 No.6046, which in addition to passenger duties, worked a military freight train each day, Panniers 7714 and 9466, Hall 6990 'Witherslack Hall' and auto fitted 1450 and autotrailer. The video starts with some of the double headed trains which operated at the gala before shots of the other locos. Scenes include;
