I owned this car for a few years, it was incredibly fun. The ZHP (sport package for the 330i) gave it some nice looks, excellent suspension tuned to M standards. And a nice naturally aspirated engine inline six that purrrred. As far as the transmission, I had the automatic. The manual is a much better car to have. If you are looking for one, definitely pick up the manual. Although I had no problems with the automatic, the manual is a short throw setup that is very enjoyable and sporty.

From what you see in this video, the blacked out grilles, the angel eyes hooked up to the main lighting and remote unlock, as well as the LED on license plates and interior are upgrades. Everything else you see is standard. Including the alcantara interior which is extremely rare in any care below exotic level.

This configuration was i a 4 door sedan. The best configuration, and this is my own opinion, is the coupe with the manual transmission. However, this is what I could get my hands on at the time.

The only thing I had an issue with was the VANOS, expensive to replace. Ended up using a refurbished unit from a company that manufactured them out of Texas. This unit controls the variable timing of the engine. And steering rack started leaking, which is another expensive replacement. Started having some play on the steering, and that was a rubber in the steering column that was replaced. Thought it was the control arms. Which were also replaced by the way. Tires, you'll eat the back ones quickly, if you drive lively. As far as mechanics, those are the major ones. Did oil changes every 3k miles to keep it in tip top shape, as well as transmission flushes when due.

Everything else was aesthetics. Replaced the the steering wheel alcantara coating, passenger seat detection for airbag, as well as some parts of the front seats to make keep their shape and alcantara, as well as the back panel behind the back seat which turned from black alcantara to purple. That got re-upholstered and re-installed. As there were some rattles coming out of there.

I'm super anal with my cars and like to keep them in show quality. So what are seeng here is critical of keeping them in tip top shape.
