I did the run in 56 segments and used only in-game saving for the segments. My route was pretty much the same as the any% route, but with risky strategies on certain bosses. The game can be micro optimized in so many ways that it would be pretty much impossible to get even one segment frame perfect.

Segmented runs are time consuming, so I only did one run without really planning ahead. In the end the only thing I came to regret was committing to bloody patch early in the run. I ended up not using it outside the final battle, so I could have just got it in Yggdrasil without wasting any time.
