I'm going to teach you, step by step, how to create a simple landing page using WordPress and the free Kadence theme.
The first step is to purchase a domain name and web hosting for your new website.
Then, you'll need to install a fresh copy of WordPress from your web hosting's cPanel dashboard.
Next, install the free Kadence WordPress theme onto your new website by going to the left-hand settings panel and hovering over appearance, then clicking themes.
After that, search for the Kadence theme and install it. Then, Install the Kadence blocks for Gutenberg, add-on plugin
Create a home page from the Pages tab and click the edit button to begin building out your landing page.
Add a row to your page and upload an image of your eBook or another lead magnet to the column on the left.
Then, add a Kedence block form to the column on the right side. Customize the size, padding, margin, and button to truly make it your own.
Next, click the update button in the top right corner to save your progress. After that, click the preview button to confirm your landing page looks how you want it to.
Finally, send traffic to your landing page to collect names and emails, all the while giving your visitors a free, high-quality lead magnet.
As you can see, you don't need pricey page builders or landing page creators to street building your email list. All you need is an affordable WordPress website and the free version of the Kadence theme.
