Teachers using this method deliver their lecture or direct instruction content through concise videos, which opens class time for rigorous and engaging student learning activities. Using simple tools, every teacher can start making this change tomorrow.

EducationPlus (formerly known as Cooperating School Districts) will host its annual Midwest Education Technology Conference (METC) February 10-12, 2014 at the St. Charles Convention Center. Known as this region's premier education-technology event, METC gathers nearly 2,000 leaders and educators from the Midwest and beyond including superintendents, principals, K-12 teachers, administrators, support staff and others.
The Midwest Education Technology Conference (METC) features regional and national experts who introduce participants to the latest trends and best practices in the area of education technology. In addition, attendees have the opportunity to see examples of student-developed work, network and learn from colleagues, attend hands-on workshops and discover new and innovative ways to approach teaching and learning through technology use in the classroom. It is estimated that over 400,000 students are impacted by this program each year, as teachers across all major disciplines return to classrooms and integrate new practices in education technology to deepen student learning.
