Rain in Uttarakhand is again leading to major disasters. Chamoli region has been witnessing incessant rainfall. Rains have also led to landslides in Badrinath affecting traffic in the area.
However the highway has been closed. Following which, people traveling to Rishikesh and Dehradun have been stranded on the highway. Rivers are also flowing above the danger mark. Heavy rain continues in the state.
