Full restoration on this beautiful 1902 Shaw upright piano! This project was a labor of love, blending the rich history of early 20th-century craftsmanship with modern restoration techniques to bring this piano back to life. I refinished the cabinetry & rebuilt the interior of this piano, all while honoring the piano's original design and preserving unique character & charm.
I installed a new state-of-the-art piano player system, making this antique piano even more versatile & enjoyable! I restored the original soundboard and bridges, adding tension back to the wood for a rich, resonant tone. I replated the brass hardware, in-house, to preserve the antique aesthetic.
Every aspect of this rebuild was handled with precision & great care. Older pianos like this Shaw have incredible potential when fully restored. And after decades of experience, I can confidently say this is one of the finest restorations we’ve completed.
