Today I like to share with you Gujarati Surti undhiyu recipe |
Undhiyu Recipe | Surti Undhiyu | Easy & Tasty Undhiyu recipe | Gujarati Undhiyu |
Ingredients :
For paste preparation:
green chillies - 3 medium sized
chopped ginger - 2 spoon
green garlic - 1/4 cup
For green masala preparation:
green chillies - 5 medium sized
chopped ginger - 2 spoons
green garlic - 1/4 cup
white sesame - 2 spoons
lemon juice - 1 spoon
salt - 1/2 spoon
grated dry or fresh coconut - 50gm
chopped coriander leaves - 100gm
sugar - 2 spoons
raw ground nut (peanut) - 2 spoons
For methi muthiya preparation:
oil (total) - 3 spoons
chopped methi (Fenugreek leaves) - 100gm
sugar - 2 spoons
ajwayen (carom seeds) - 1 spoon
salt - 1/2 spoon
soda - 1/4 spoon
gram flour (besan) - 1 cup
coarse wheat flour - 1/4 cup
For surti papdi cooking preparation:
surti papdi - 300gm
oil - 4 spoons
ajwayen (carom seeds) - 1/2 spoon
soda - 1/4 spoon
Salt - 1/2 spoon
For temparing preparation:
oil - 6 spoons
ajwayen (carom seeds) - 1 spoon
hing (asafoetida) - 1/4 spoon
dry red chillies - 4 nos.
salt - according to taste
Fresh or frozen green peas - 1/4 cup
stuffed green brinjal - 3 nos.
chopped fryed sweet potato - 1 no.
chopped fryed potato - 1 medium sized
chopped purple yam (ratalu) - 1 medium sized
chopped raw banana - 1 no.
cooking oil for fryed (more preferred ground oil)
For garnish:
chopped coriander leaves
grated fresh or dry coconut
chopped green garlic
