RC Engineering Works presents a wide range of Ribbon Mixer which consists of a U-shaped horizontal vessel with a double helical ribbon agitator rotating within. Ribbon Mixer is also known as Horizontal ribbon blender or Powder Mixer. The agitator shaft is located at the center of the vessel. The shaft has support arms on to which the external and internal helical ribbons (spirals) are wound.
It is primarily used for blending dry solids, dry powders. Ribbon Blender finds application in pharmaceutical, food, chemical and similar industries.
In Design & construction : Paddle mixers or Paddle Blenders are constructed around a horizontal rotating axis with broad shearing paddles radiating from spokes around the axis, similar in construction and application to ribbon blenders. A paddle blender/paddle mixer is composed of a power unit which drives the shaft, optimum number of paddles with calculated angles distributed in the shaft continuously which agitate the product during operation, making the material moving in all directions. Paddle Blender/ Paddle Mixer offers a small resistance to the product and won’t break the particle.
