Noodling around a Susato melody on my new printed rackett reed! The rackett itself is a printed Great Bass rackett, which I modeled after an original Moeck instrument with many design modifications and optimizations for printing.
The reed itself is printed in PETG on a Prusa MK3S with a 0.25mm nozzle, 50 micron spiral vase mode, with a higher extrusion modifier value for better layer adhesion under the vibratory stresses it's subjected to while playing.
Also, it readily underblows a 5th, bringing this rackett's lowest note from Bb1 all the way down to Eb0! The lowest note in this little ditty is merely C1.
Progress! :-)
