Today on our 2013 Toyota Tacoma we'll be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains, part number TC2323. Keep in mind that this is being used with tire size 24575R16. The Titan Chain Tire Chains are sturdy, durable, alloy tire chains that provide extra traction in snow and ice. The square links form cross chains, and the small link size contributes to a smooth ride. Also, the diamond pattern offers more tire coverage and increases traction and stopping power. The integrated tensioner provides a nice snug fit.
These tire chains have a maximum speed rating of 30 miles per hour and come in a quantity of two. We'll show you how to install them now. Now to begin our install we've gone ahead and laid out our tire chains to make sure there aren't any kinks or breaks in the lines. The only other thing we want to make sure of is that our red channel is facing away from our tire. Next we'll take the yellow end and pass it around behind our tire. We'll reach around and pull it around from the other side.
We want to bring the gray tensioner to the front, and we'll straighten up our chains. We'll grab each end of our tire chain, bring it around, and we want to secure them together. We'll push that portion to the back. Next we'll take our yellow link and secure it to our green hook. Now we'll take the gray links and pass them through the red channel. To take up some of the slack, we're going to run the gray links through our two rings or as many rings as we can get them through.
Once we have it through these rings, we'll take the hook and secure it to the opposite side. Now we can drive forward a couple feet, get out and double check the tension as we need to. That's going to be our completed look at the Titan Chain Allow Snow Tire Chains, part number TC2323 on our 2013 Toyota Tacoma.
