Shahnaz Akhtar, a woman from Lahore, said that her daughter became seriously ill in 2014 and the Team Sar e Aam contacted her for help in her treatment. She was invited to ARY Channel's Ramadan special program Shaan E Ramadan in which she collected more than Rs 10 million for her daughter's treatment which she has not been able to get till date.
The team asked her and her husband to sign all the documents etc. and in front of the camera she was handed a cheque of money which was taken back from her as soon as the camera was turned off and the amount donations for his daughter's treatment has not been received yet which is more than 10 million
