Nikon’s firmware version 3.00 includes animal face and eye detection, but what happens when you use it on humans? How much of the animal’s face needs to be in the frame to detect the face? What happens when you mix a dog and a person in the same shot?
In this video we make head to head comparisons between the animal and human face detection in a variety of scenarios, for both photos and video. At the end of the video we try to throw the camera a curve, just for fun.
