Official Full Sisekpa Tangnam UK 2019/2020 || Kirat Yakthung Chumlung, UK
Sisekpa Tangnam is one of the greatest festivals of Limbu people observed on the first day of Sisekpa la, 7th month of Yele Tangbe(Kirant calendar) on mid June, the time for harvesting soybeans and beans. It is observed believing to overcome all evils, starvation and poverty. Limbus believe that Sakchyong, the king of starvation, enters the house and make them suffering from poverty and starvation. So they chase Sakchyong from the house in the evening.
