In the service manual they have a procedure on how to test your torque converter once removed.
Mine wasn’t locking but after doing what I explain in the video it locked and I eventually re installed it and started the quad and it worked .. the damn thing was most likely dirty or contaminated … anyways hope this helps.
If your going to use a 3 jaw puller be very careful when mounting it to the crankshaft end. The puller can damage the oil gallery at the end of the shaft.
