At the Queen’s Veterinary School Hospital in Cambridge, Head Radiographer Anna Dussek uses an X-ray to help a vet diagnose what is wrong with Mia the dog.
The X-ray is a type of light that passes through the body, casting a shadow onto a plate, and revealing a picture of the inside of Mia’s body. X-rays are an excellent diagnostic tool for treating both humans and animals.
