The first time we went to Joshua Tree National Park, we arrived late and barely had time to complete a short hike before dark. This time we arrived early, drove across the entire park and stopped at two places to hike and enjoy the scenery.

This video also doubles as our daughter's Geology Final, so most of the content is her discussion of what we are seeing geologically. Another great time in the desert, and Thanksgiving weekend is a great time to visit (the temperature only got up into the 70's).... except for the traffic in the afternoon!
