Us humans have spent the vast majority of our existence outdoors in nature.
We developed with it.
A growing body of research points to the beneficial effects that exposure to the natural world has on our health.
Natural surroundings will help to calm your body down, which allows you to think more clearly and relieves stress: It can lower blood pressure and stress hormone levels, reduce nervous system arousal, enhance immune system function, increase self-esteem, reduce anxiety, and improves mood.
Getting outside on a regular basis can also significantly improve concentration,
memory, and attention.
One particular study found that people who spent a minimum of two hours a week in green spaces were substantially more likely to report good health and psychological well-being than those who don’t.
So take a moment to enjoy your natural surroundings.
Step barefoot on grass.
Go for a quick walk before work, during your lunch break, or after work.
It is extremely beneficial to your health.
