Afghan villagers in a district known as the birthplace of the Taliban, are trying to take back control of their village from fighters. Village elders in Panjwai district in Kandahar province have met to discuss ways to keep the Taliban away. Afghan and coalition forces also killed a high ranking Taliban official in the area on Sunday. Al Jazeera's Jennifer Glasse reports from Kabul.
