Hi everyone! Welcome to this bonus video! :D In the past few weeks we had some heavy disturbance of the train schedule because of ProRail strikes. ProRail is the company that maintains the railways in The Netherlands. Also the train dispatchers work for ProRail. And those where the ones striking a total of 6 mornings between 6 and 9am.
On the morning of this recording I was scheduled to drive trains towards Nijmegen. But due to strikes at the dispatchers center in Arnhem we were not able to travel further than Ede-Wageningen. On our way back to Utrecht we started the ride here and that's the recording you will see. Because it was kinda white this morning I thought it would make a nice bonus video! :D Enjoy!

We start the ride in the renewed station Ede-Wageningen. This station has been renewed in the past few years. A new platform was created on the left of our train seen from drivers cabin. Also a complete new roof and passenger hall were build.
1:43 ATB Track Failure
After construction works we most always have problems with the infrastructure. Don't ask me why. You should ask ProRail about that. ;) Right after departure we get a wrong signal in the ATB-system. This means we must drive on sight until the next main light signal. And that's kinda far from here. That's why our speed remains low until then.

As soon as we can speed up we report the ATB track failure to the train dispatcher for repairing.

No stop at this station. There's a type in the video edit here. Sorry for that. The Intercity 15 minutes behind us will make a stop here and skips Driebergen - Zeist (next stop) instead.

Tracks joining in from the Rhenen direction.

Two om them on our route here. Ecoducts connect wild life areas with each other. They are only meant to be used by animals. Not people. :)

This station is served by sprinters from/to Rhenen.

Freight location.

The seconds and last ecoduct on this small journey.
15:35 Driebergen - Zeist
At stop at Driebergen - Zeist. These are two small vilages in The Netherlands joining one station. Driebergen and Zeist. :)

Sprinter from/to Rhenen and Driebergen - Zeist make stops here.
24:05 Utrecht Vaartsche Rijn
Sprinter station for sprinter coming from Rhenen, Driebergen -Zeist, 's Hertogenbosch and Tiel.
