FRANCE, September 2019: Driving the road from Cannes to Saint-Raphaël, you see the red cliffs of The Massif de l'Esterel descending into the sea. They form maiden bays with irregular shapes hiding charming beaches available only to a few. The massif is of volcanic origin and its clay color is due to bauxite. The slopes of the massif are a great place for climbing and mountain tours, both on foot and by bike. Along the coast there are many viewpoints from which you can admire the beautiful contrast of the azure water and red volcanic rocks.
