SIN CITY THE HARD GOODBYE Curator's Collection. When I first laid eyes on Frank Miller's Sin City I recall staring with eyes wide, absorbing every issue page by page and shaking my head in amazement. I still feel that way, especially with this Curator's Collection. The book is gigantic, every page scanned from Miller's original art. Due to the size, it's challenging to show all the pencil lines he uses to draft these "simple and minimal" pages of art. I say that cuz when you get close and see the amount of pencil work he puts onto page before he blasts it with black, it's apparent this man is a master of his craft. In this age of digital ease there's something to be said about an artist who still labors to create with ink on paper. For the fans, I'll post the complete page by page flipthru over on YouTube.
