Highlights of the 2016 Forensic Science & Criminal Justice Summer Programme in Glasgow Caledonian University, Glasgow, Scotland, UK - www.gcu.ac.uk/forensics. This is a three week taught course on Forensic Science and the Scottish Criminal Justice System, i.e. CSI Scotland. The course is delivered through a series of lectures and practical exercises, including crime scene analysis, trace analysis and ‘white powder’ identification. Field trips to Police, Fire & Rescue, Prison, Court and Scientific Services are included. Course is suitable for University science students in chemistry, biology and forensic science/criminal justice. Successful completion of course earns transferable credits to their home institution..
