Boa Tarde! Hope you're having a great week! Did you know that this past Monday (November 1st) was a National holiday? In the states we call it All Saints Day. In Portugal, children will go door to door asking for "Pao por Deus" and in return, they will receive sweet breads or now a days, candy.
Anyway, I wanted to share with you all our school experience thus far. I know choosing the right school is very subjective to parents and one of the toughest decisions to make (especially in a new country).
In Portugal, you have three options- international, private Portuguese or public. International schools follow their own curriculum and is usually taught in a foreign language such as English, German, French etc. Most international that is taught in English follows the British curriculum. You then have the option to enroll your child(ren) in the Portuguese system. There are two options- public or private. Both follow the Portuguese ministry of education. The public is free whereas the private does have a tuition and extra fees.
So grab a comfy blanket and a snack because this is a long video. Hope you guys enjoy it and if you do, please hit the like and subscribe for more family friendly content :)
