Rundown: Batangas Governor Hermilando Mandanas believes the province should be under a higher alert level similar to Manila's after the province saw 629 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, January 5, from just 57 new cases pre-Christmas. Mandanas says they have put up a quarantine hub at the port in anticipation of COVID surges.
