Loot of 28.06 lakh has been reported in Bengabad branch of Union Bank of India. Five armed criminals entered the Bengabad branch of Union Bank of India under the same police station of Giridih district and looted Rs 28.06 lakh from the bank safe after injuring at least two bank staff and a guard. According to police officials, intensive search was launched to track the looters. Whereas describing the incident, the Assistant Manager of the bank said that the robbers assaulted the bank staff and forced them to open the locker at gunpoint.
