Another dock seal's life was saved today because of Tony's patience and skills with the sharp rescue hook. He knows he has only one shot and he makes sure he is in the perfect position before he takes his chances. The seals are relaxed and not bothered by his presence at all.
A special thank you goes to Emilia from Have-A-Heart. She regularly patrols the same fish factories to look after feral cats in the area. Thanks to the amazing work of Have-A-Heart, many cats have been neutered. They often alert us when they see entangled seals in the area and we appreciate the extra eyes on the ground.
