Beautiful Prime Rib Roast done Sous Vide. Please see my recipe below. Inspired by chef steps using the Joule. Please subscribe!!!
135 degrees for 7 hours.
Salt pepper generously.
Pre seared for about 2-3 minutes per side.
Added rosemary and butter to the bag along with the pre sear drippings.
Once fully cooked, used egg white to apply to the roast to add a rub and create a crust. Rub consist of rosemary, onion and garlic powder and lastly salt and pepper.
Finished in the oven for 10 minutes at 475 degrees.
Used the drippings from the bag to make an aus jus.
Cooked to a medium doneness at 135 degrees. It was juicy, flavourful and tender!
