New Media Strategies visits the NYSE to mark the first-ever "Social Media Day" at the New York Stock Exchange. "Social Media Day" will take place the following day, Nov. 4, at the NYSE and will consist of a full day of conversation on achieving success in social media marketing. In honor of the occasion, Pete Snyder, CEO and Founder of New Media Strategies (NMS), one of the world's largest social media marketing agencies, rings The Opening BellSM.
"Social Media Day" will explore social marketing strategy and emerging trends in corporate and political communications. Profiling success stories that have deepened relationships with customers and constituents, social media experts, including Snyder, will share lessons learned, training tips, tools and advice for leveraging social media to build your personal brand.
Christine A. Varney, former Assistant Attorney General for the Antitrust Division, U.S. Department of Justice, will open with a discussion on "Social Media and Wall Street." Eamon Javers, CNBC Washington Reporter, will moderate "How Smart Businesses Are Engaging with Social Media." The lunch keynote, "Using Social Media to Move the Chains," will be given by DeMaurice Smith, Executive Director, NFL Players Association.
