Sanguineti Media turns 10 Years Old!
I am proud to present the best bits of the last 10 years in a very special 10 Year Celebration showreel. There was so much I couldn't include, and so much that is only briefly featured.
In 2011, I formed Sanguineti Media Pty Ltd to honour my Nonno, Gino Sanguineti who passed away in February of that year. Sometimes in the story of how you achieved something, there's a person who is so significant and integral to that story, that it would be unlikely that story would be even happen. In a way, that's how important Gino was to my story of being a filmmaker.
Gino gave me my first camera. It was an old VHS camcorder, built probably in the late 1980s and had only come out of a cupboard gathering dust because of my interest in film. Just having access to a camera meant that I was given opportunity to experiment and film things.
So in 2011, when it was time for me to take the next step in my professional career, and having been producing work under a completely different name (Moth Productions), I re-branded and I took the family name to be my production banner. Sanguineti Media was born.
And now 10 years have passed! It's truly been an incredible 10 years of content making.
In this time there have been 3 feature length films, 8 Skyfire Official Videos, thousands of hours of video content produced for clients, many short films, numerous awards and honours, I completed a Masters Degree, and established myself as a film educator and film mentor for people with disability.
I truly need to thank every person who has contributed somehow to the last 10 years, be it working with me, collaborating, volunteering, supporting or just keeping up to date on what thing I am working on next. Thank you for helping me keep the dream alive.
