If you have to get leaves off the ground this fall, do yourself a favor and get the Joycee’s approved Vac Attack leaf vacuum from Ryobi. This thing sucks, in a good way. To get started pop in a 40 volt battery, select low, medium, or high speed then hit the trigger and suck, suck, suck your way to the easiest yard cleanup ever!
If you want to be as efficient as possible, blow the leaves into a pile. Then grab the vac attack and suck that pile up. Do not use this like vacuuming your carpet. It will take forever.
The leaves do not only get vacced they also get mulched and Ryobi claims it turns 16 bags into 1. I’m not completely sure about that but it has reduced the amount of bags I’ve used so far this year.
Emptying out the bag is easy too. Just undo the two clips on the motor mount and pull down the zipper. The hole in the bag is about the same size as a leaf bag opening. I suggest picking up a plastic leaf bag chute for emptying out the sack. It is a little awkward without its easier to pull bunches of leaves out of the bag and without the shoot they fall all over the place. So say goodbye to bending over this and picking up irritating pile after irritating pile. With the Ryobi vac attak leaf vacuum getting rid of fallen foliage doesn’t have to suck but it’s a lot better when it does!
To be as efficient as possible I blew the leaves into a pile. While my most trusted associate did the vaccing
