This video explains how to form regular preterites, change spelling when needed, and learn irregular formations. Lots of practice included.

As stated in the video, some irregular verbs can be subdivided into more patterns. Also, verbs that end in -zar will also change in spelling to preserve the infinitive sound. See the link above for more info!
