Karnataka Express (KK) departs from Bangalore for one last time with Diesel Locomotive. Effective 1st May 2018 KK
will run with Electric Loco from Bangalore to Wadi
and vice versa marking an end to its Diesel legacy in Bangalore Section, how ever it will traverse a mere 300 KM in Diesel traction
between Wadi and Daund until the stretch is electrified.
This change is going to be a big loss for Diesel lovers specially ALCos. The ALCo chugging and the buzzing EMD's will be dearly missed but all the treasured videos of several Railfans will stay here for ever to watch and cherish.
