Driving on the motorway from Basel to Zurich. Enjoy this roadtrip from the city on the Rhine river to the most populous city in Switzerland.

The video begins in the northwestern Switzerland in Basel St. Johann and ends in Altstetten, a quarter in the city of Zurich. The route has a length about 82 kilometers and and runs eastbound through the hilly landscape of the Swiss plateau and the Jura Mountains.

Basel ist the city with the tallest building in the country (Roche Tower [1:17] at the right side of the video). The height ist 178 meters and next to it, a second skyscraper is under construction, which will have a height of 205 meters.
