I finally managed to get my hands on an Automatic Gen.2 Toyota GR Yaris!
Given the limitations in time, we didn't manage to film actual driving, but I will describe it in detail and share my take on this new beast.
Long story short? Great improvements all round, but I would still stick with a manual gearbox - but that's just me.

While more refined in every manner, the performance difference between a new car and a modified Gen.1 is incredible, so if you plan on going to the track much, I still stand by my first suggestion of purchasing a used Gen.1 and tailoring it to Your favourite spec, as 60k€ asking price is really entering Audi RS3 territory, and I find it hard to justify at stock levels of performance.
