Shannon & Jason are back at it giving you alllll the details about their Top 10 MUST HAVE Clover products!
1. Wonder Clips: [ Ссылка ]
Always on hand, always close by, these marvels of the crafting world are good for holding just about anything we ask them to. From quilting, to crafting, to garment sewing, they are the jewels in our sewing box.
2. Kuroha Thread Clipper: [ Ссылка ]
They are small. They are sharp. They work with a simple pinch, saving our (sometimes aching) joints. We travel with a pair, keep another pair by the sewing machine, and keep yet another pair by the couch for evening work, and they are on both of our peg boards in the studio….Total. Must. Have.
3 & 4. Sashico Needles and Adjustable Ring Thimble: [ Ссылка ] /// [ Ссылка ]
It will come as no surprise we love Clover’s Long Type Sashico Needles, and Clover’s Adjustable Ring Thimble. They are (as the name states, of course) perfect for sashico…but they are also great for visible mending and many other forms of slow stitching and quilting. Do yourself a favor and pick up a set.
5. Rotary Cutter: [ Ссылка ]
If there was one tool we had to say sped up our time in the studio, it would HAVE to be the Rotary Cutter. From straight lines to small fine curves, you CANNOT beat the accuracy and speed these tools bring! Not a lot more to say, it’s simply the perfect cutting tool.
6. White Marking Pen: [ Ссылка ]
We SWEARRR by these pens. Marking a sashico pattern on cloth? Grab a White Marking Pen. Need quilting lines to stand out on dark fabric? White Marking Pen to the rescue. We keep a few of these in a container by the cutting table for all sorts of work.
7. Hera Marker: [ Ссылка ]
This might be a new one to some of you. But if you are marking fabric and worried that a pen will not show, or worse, that it won’t wash out (*gasp*), we reach for a Hera Marker. The thin blade makes thin creases in fabric that stay and remain visible while we work. These are ancient tools that have passed the test of time for a reason.
8. Curved Tailor’s Awl: [ Ссылка ]
Need a small stiletto for sewing pieces? Need to pick an errant thread? Pull a line of stitches? Make a thread pull to cut fabric straight? Here’s your go-to tool. This multi-tasker of the maker’s space is always going to be in our top 10 favs.
9. Amour Crochet Hooks: [ Ссылка ]
We love these hooks. We say it alllll the time and will continue to say it until we’re dead (is that dramatic?). That is all.
10. Black Gold Sewing Needles: [ Ссылка ]
When we are sewing fine hand work or quilt binding, we automatically reach for Clover’s Black Gold Needles. The one-way polishing ensures they slide through the fabric with ease and remain sharp throughout the entire project.
