The youth curfew in Alice Springs has been extended until the end of the NT school holidays.
Matt Paterson, the Mayor of Alice Springs has welcomed the extension and says the rise in police presence in the town has had a dramatic effect.
The NT government imposed the curfew in response to violence in the streets, sparked by youth crime in the town.
