Daikon is at last easier to find in France. White "daikon" Radish is a bit sweeter than the usual french black radish. It is also a very good match with pork meat. This braised preparation is a very warming and traditional japanese taste, please enjoy!

Ingredients (for 1 to 2 people) :
- 300g Daikon (white radish)
- 1 to 2 tsp sesame oil
- 180g pork belly
- 180ml water
- 2 tbsp mirin [ Ссылка ]
- 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp ginger powder [ Ссылка ]
- 1/2 tsp hondashi powder
- 1 tbsp sugar
- some green topping eg. green onion
