On "EWTN News Nightly" tonight: The US Supreme Court is facing the most significant abortion-related dispute since Roe v Wade was overturned last summer. The justices are considering a lower court ruling that would place restrictions on access to an FDA approved abortion drug, mifepristone. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters, "The stakes could not be higher and we are going to continue to fight. That is the commitment that this president, this administration has made, and we are going to continue to protect women, and women's reproductive rights." Legal Analyst for EWTN News, Andrea Picciotti-Bayer, joins to share her thoughts on the Supreme Court taking up the case. Meanwhile, at a meeting in Rome, Pope Francis hoped that the discussions and shared experiences involving journalists, survivors and experts would help shed light on abuse and promote more effective cooperation within the Church. International Safeguarding Consultant, Tina Campbell, joins to tell us more about the meeting on abuse. Finally this evening, a Christian pastor in Iran was released from prison just this month after being arrested and charged with "acting against national security" and promoting "Zionist Christianity." Director of Advocacy of Global Religious Freedom for ADF International, Kelsey Zorzi, joins to tell us a little more about the pastor and what led to the charges and his arrest.
