Payments has a crucial role to play in the advance towards the ‘net zero’ carbon emissions 2050 target. This is the focus of a new, first of its kind, research report produced by Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) in collaboration with Visa, giving practical guidance to all players in the payments eco-system. The report goes into four specific areas of focus: sustainable transport, sharing economy, sustainable retail banking and data-driven sustainability services.
