Seattle's South Sound got hit hard by snow, making the roads slick with hazardous driving conditions. We saw several accidents all around the region as the icy conditions proved too much for some drivers.
Snohomish County road maintenance crews will switch from snowplowing to sanding and deicing Sunday night as temperatures continue to fall. At least 6 inches of snow had fallen in the Smokey Point area by late Sunday afternoon.
