There are a couple reasons you would want to find the Colosseum of Fools in Hollow Knight. Just make sure not to attempt the last trial until you have almost every upgrade in the game as it is VERY difficult.
The rewards are pretty awesome for the first two trials:
Trial of the Warrior will reward you with a Charm Notch
Trial of the Trial of the Conqueror will give you a Pale Ore
The final trial will give you Geo and % completion.
