Finally had a chance to get this video made. Hopefully I covered everything and you can use some of this information to increase your chances of catching dungeness crab from shore with a crab snare! I covered the gear and tackle you need, bait (squid, mackerel, etc), conditions to look for, how to increase casting distance and a few other things. The owner of Gus' Tackle on 38th ave and Balboa in San Francisco told me that she will give a free line cutter to anyone who puts $15 or more from her shop. That's three snares that she sells.
