It's been a tough few months for the Tartan Army, but the winless run is over as Scotland beat 10-man Croatia 1-0 at Hampden to keep their slim Nations League qualification hopes alive.

Super John McGinn was omitted from the starting XI for tonight's game, but the Aston Villa captain climbed off the bench to grab a priceless winner for the Dark Blues four minutes from time to send the home supporters at a packed National Stadium wild.

Steve Clarke's side will now travel to Poland looking to not only avenge their last gasp defeat on home soil against Robert Lewandowski and co, but also to try and qualify for the quarter finals of the Nations League and guarantee themselves a Pot 1 seeding in the upcoming World Cup Qualifiers.
